I love the outdoors, crafting, and reading. I read about one book per month and almost always fall asleep while reading. I have many, many craft projects in progress - the pile keeps growing. I complete about one backpacking trip per summer and am always looking for recommendations!

My wife and I raised two kids, who are 23 and (soon to be!) 25, first in Portland and then in Salem, before moving to Silverton in 2020. We love small town living, where we can walk to the dentist, grocery store, and Silverton's famous restaurants! Slowly but surely, we are updating our 1920s Craftsman bungalow.

We have two dogs, Roxy and Posy, and two backyard chickens, David and Moira. David lays pink eggs and Moira lays blue eggs.

I love the outdoors! In the summer, you can find me backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail, swimming at Silver Falls, or lazing in my hammock!
Joy and I have been together for almost 19 years. We love relaxing at the beach.
Roxy was rescued in Fresno, CA, and brought to Oregon to be adopted. She's 60% Chihuaha, 20% pitbull, and 20% mutt. I wish I could say she was 100% good girl, but sometimes, she naughty.
Posy was rescued in Woodburn. She's Shih Tzu, Miniature Pinscher, and Poodle. She is quite naughty, but she loves everybody!
My Grandma Irene knew me best of anyone in this world and accepted me for who I am. She was the first in my family to get a Masters degree and was the head librarian at Tigard Public Library for many years. She inspired my love of reading!
Sometimes we take good selfies and sometimes we don't.
Joy and I raised two kids (Helena and Jupiter) and love spending time with our niblings - Logan, Whitney, and Miles!Â
We didn't take a honeymoon until our 10 year anniversary, so we made it count! We've been ziplining a few times, but Belize was by far the best.
